What is the least amount load capacity boat lift I can use for my fathers 78 Sanger SuperJet?
We are limited on room when it comes time to pull it out of the water in the winter so we don't want something bigger than necessary. Nothing extravagant just a basic lift. I am having a mooring cover made so the boat itself will be protected while on a lift and the trailer.

I dont think too many guys are going to be able to help since most of us out here dont have that problem. We are in the 90s already. You probably only need one that will lift 2500 lbs.

That was basicly my question. So a 2500-3000lb lift will do the job?

I have a hydraulic shore station rated at 2500#. It lifts my 20' Sleek Craft with no problem. It has power up AND down. I use the power down feature to "walk" the shore station into and out of the lake in Spring and Fall. Requires 2 people, my wife and me.
