    other good sites
http://www.pontiacpower.com/index.html ( good place to send heads for porting...)
http://www.jbp-pontiac.com/index.html ( good place to buy gaskets and the like)
Ebay is about the best place I know to find pontiac heads... lots on there.....( unmolested is best)
    http://www.wallaceracing.com/ultimatehead.htm
/\ basic flow #s ( take them with a grain of salt)
If you looking to make big power the Ebrock heads are the only way to go.( ram air IV exhasut)
If you plan on using a pair of cast iron heads--be careful on who does the porting lots of ppl that don't know what they are doing makeing heavy paper wiehgts.

Are you looking for casting #143 heads, are these for a boat? If so they would probably be best for the anchor. (grin) There are a lot other choices for iron heads that may work better, unless you are concerned with correct casting numbers.

I ran 6X-8 heads on my 455 powered boat, made good power without porting and was extremely reliable. 455+.030, Late SD rods, forged pistons, real conservative cam, performer intake. Not the slowest or the fastest boat on the water, ran about 75. It was a lot of fun, but moved to a different kind of boat. I still have all the marine parts left, since I sold the boat and kept the motor. I would be glad to share what worked for me, Pontiac powered boat wise.
