Why would want to do that, just curious? You would loose neutral unless you set up so sort of stage for it having three positions. I think keeping it cable is just way easier, but maybe that is just me.

need list of parts to install air shifter for forward and reverse on jet

mpd has a kit air shifter that he can put together. none of us with air shifters run a reverse; only forward and neutral, and neutral is really like -stop-. maneuverability is just fine, idling around the outramp or whatever, but different than using the cable shifter.
but, it's primarily geared for drag racing application. if i were running river/lake only, doubt very seriously if i'd have one. but for dragracing, wouldn't have anything but.
thats all i want is forward and neutral .thinking about drag racing it.i will call jack. thanks
I use the same set up as the place diverter. Hydrolic reverse gate. Blocked off the revers so it is now neutral/forward.
At the lake I just shut down early and pull out the paddle. Never in a hurry to get somewhere at the lake anyway.

Good seeing your team again at Ming

Lots of us have been running around with only neutral/fwd. on the river, its no big deal.Ill be running the air gate on the river this season.
I think it's a waste of time.
(J/K)...I'm doing the same mod. No more manual shifting for this one.
