I think pretty accurate, others think it is wrong....
But that is what i would go by, as that is what the banks use to fund loans
Posting this for a friend of mine that is in the middle of doing a little boat shopping and asked me a couple of question and I thought I would get your impressions. He found a 2004 Cobra 230 Razor with 70 hours, a 496mag (no HO) bravo one, aftermarket stereo ($7000 from transonic) and Dana hinges. How accurate is the price? What would think this boat would go for?

Thanks Miguel, NADA is saying its worth $47K and with all the upgrades they want $53K. Does sound about right?
Just because you paid 7K for a stereo, does not mean you can resell for 7K....
ill price it right now
My understanding is they say good for buyers, not as good for sellers.

Ziggy
I know this is what you do, But I disagree
Sold the shockwave for middle of the road in 2 days for what Nada had it as the middle.
DCB comes in at 107K,
BUT has the disclaimer that these are highly modified boats and will cost more ....
i would go by it selling or buying

I don't disagree with you at all..........I merely was repeating what I have heard from a few sources in the boat industry. Maybe NADA is more in tune than before and/or the market has balanced itself again.
Then again, the disclaimer leaves the door wide open for adjustment to garner what the market will bare.
i know many who hate nada.. (ratso ), but it has always worked ok for me.
i also know that my credit union will only finance according to nada.
I found nada lower than Kelly by 10-20% When you want to insure you cant insure for REAL value..Compair same boat With Kelly and you will get closer to actual value.. Also you can get compairable boat at Long Beach Yacht Sales for starting offer of 37,000. PM me for how to do it..
