Now that looks like a "black leadership" group I could easily support, unlike the Rainbow Coalition of Strongarming Corporations and the Nation Of Islamic Racists.
Eventually the Revs will marginalize themselves into insignificance, have faith gentlemen. Only problem is it won't happen tomorow, will take a bit longer. They ARE already quite a ways along the path tho. :crossx: :crossx:

I love it! I went to a Californian Republican Assembly meeting last week, and was pleasantly surprised at the number of black members in attendance.
Where is the info about Dr. King on the site? Or was that tongue in cheek?

Most people don't realize that the Democrats used to be the party of racism and most blacks were Republican. Then, as the Republicans became conservative in their fiscal philosophy and the Democrats adopted the welfare state concept (a socialistic attitude), they started buying the black vote with policies that looked good on paper, but failed the test of social and fiscal reason.

Very true. Back in the day, people like Al Gore's Daddy and KKK Byrd actually voted AGAINST the civil rights acts that Republicans were in favor of. Thanks to some quick erasing and a little revisionist history, Democrats now run around claiming they are the creators of modern civil rights. Hypocrisy is the bedrock of liberalism.
