When adding remote oil filters to a 455 olds is there oil bypass valves that need to be upgraded like a chevy? If so where are they located and where do I get the parts?
    Thanks

Make sure you run a good size hose, 5/8 ID or bigger, stay away from 90 deg fittings wherever you can.

Here is my "El Cheapo" remote filter. Not much in the way of "Bling". That can come later.
Moroso 23750, Summit or Jegs, or your choice of suppliers. Plate on block came from a guy in Maryland, I believe. I'll get his info and post it up.

As a note, the filter shown is a stock Olds filter. It's the cheapest the Napa store had, but it is a Napa branded Wix filter. It's purpose now is to be there for setup, and when I pre-oil the motor. I will swap it out for a Chev 1 qt size after that. There is also room underneath for a pan or freezer bag to catch the mess.
