Thread: how do you get oil and grease out of gelcoat

    tryed degreaser, rubbing compound, paint thinner, marine polishes, how do i get it out without ruining gelcoat, it is oil and grease, etc from floor of boat and then people walking on bow, please email me with any suggestions, amarlls@aol.com

    Gel Coat Cleaner...Can be bought anywhere...

People walking on the bow?! WTF!! wink Have you tried acetone? You need to be careful with it and you'll have to buff the boat back out, but it should get it off.
