I just got my gears from him and when I opened the box..............well he sure packed the hell out of them!
Cardboard box outside, hardboard box inside, EXPANSIVE FOAM INSIDE HARDBOARD BOX, looks they are wrapped in plastic inside the foam though.
There's no way in hell even the USPS monkeys could have fawked these suckers up.
Looks like another half an hour or so and I'll be able to liberate them.

you are lucky. when I was doing that gear exchange people would toss 'em in a box of packing peanuts. When I got them there was 2 beat up gears and some peanut dust.

Yep, his packages are a challenge to dig into alright,LOL but no worries about damaged parts and that's a big plus!..
I had to respond here. Yeah, I got some gears from JJ as well, and I was completely amazed at the care taken to pack them. If a guy's packaging job is so remarkable, imagine the quality of the rest of his work? Really noteworthy and amazing in todays "no customer service" corporate society.
Everything I got from him was top quality!..
