We are going through Hell

Last night our other Yellow Lab Kodi Died. The last couple of days he ahd ben acting a little down and we thought he was just depressed over Molly. Yesterday when Leanna got home from work she let him out and he went and just laid down in the middle of the yard, she called him in for dinner he wouldn't come in he just laid there and was breathing very heavy. Leanna called me at work to come home and we rushed him to emergency. They had to give him several blood transfushions and that he had a tumor in his belly that had ruptured and he was bleeding internally. He had actually died once on the table and they gave him cpr and brought him back. The x-ray showed he had multiple tumors and there was really nothing they could do. We got to stay with him till he passed.
We miss them both very much!!! R.I.P. Molly and Kodi

So sorry to hear that. You have to consider yourself lucky if you have one great dog during your lifetime...looks like you guys were fortunate enough to have two. Take care.

Dave, I know it's no consolation but I lost my German Shephard exactly the same way. I can't imagine the grief. We're thinking about you and your wife.

That is a huge blow, sorry to hear that Dave. I really feel that dogs got the short end of the stick in life. They are truely the best pets, they should live alot longer than most of them do. It is tough though, I feel for you and your wife.
