Tempe police foiled an attempt to transport $20,000 worth of methamphetamine to Lake Havasu, according to police reports.
Police found Carol Stribling, 53, with nearly two pounds of methamphetamine, valued at $20,000, records show. They reported that she was trying to transport the drugs from Phoenix to Lake Havasu.
Stribling was arrested at 6:10 p.m. Friday in the 6000 block of North Black Canyon Highway, near Interstate 17 and Bethany Home Road.
