Can anyone tell me anytying about these heads #3872702 besides they are closed chamber square port? Are they worth building or toss them for merlin heads?

Those are really small valves and little combustion chambers, probably very small runners also. Not much of a performance head. I'd get rid of them and go w/ Merlins or Darts etc.
thanks west coast dave thats the direction I was headed.. where are you in fresno? I'm off of shepered and willow.

In the Cedar and Shaw area. Do you go to Millerton often? We usually end up at Temperence Flat area. Going to the Delta this weekend. What's your boat? we have a 19 ft. V-Drive bubbledeck Sanger.
3872702 this is a 65-66 oval port closed chamber 396 and 427 small valve check your cast number again or go to www.mortec.com for your listing
Excellent head for an engine running below 5,500 rpm and less than .500 inches of valve lift. Anything else will be a waste of money with no HP increase. If you don't want them I will take em!
