Depends on how much boost, pump gas or race, what is done to the heads, which 1471 and a few other things, but I'll go 1150 hp with 1000 ft lbs tq. Nice mill!

Gonna start at 6 pounds of boost.......on pump gas.......and here is a link to the heads.

Those 14-71 take alot of hp to turn when you spin them 5000-6000 RPM to the tune of several hundred hp, which takes it away from your net hp. At 6 lbs of boost I will say it will make 925 hp at 6000 RPM and 900 Ft/lb of torque. Very similar motor we dynoed last year took 11 lbs to make 1100 HP on race fuel, it was intercooled as well. We ran the intercooler to a water hose, instead of circulating water thru the block to the intercooler. That should be closer to what the motor will see in the boat.

Blower shop told me the engine wont know the difference between a 871/1471. The advantage of the 1471 is that it doesnt have two be spun as hard as the 871. Running 2 stage water pump 1 stage for inter cooler and other stage for engine. Our water is 65F at the hottest part of summer with ambient temps around 100F with low/no humidity and 600 above sea level.

Boost is a a measure of restriction in the intake pathway, 5 lbs on one motor may make more power than 8 lbs on another motor. With that, I am referencing what was accomplished with a 598 with AFR CNC heads and a intercooled 14-71. The blower was turned 13% over. It ended making about 11-12 lbs of boost. It also made 1150 hp at 6400 RPM's and almost 1100 ft/lbs of torque. It would be more pertinent to know what ratio the blower will be driven and how much boost it will produce, that will determine the efficiency of the intake path. If it makes less boost and more power that is good. I hope it produces outstanding numbers, I know you have thru hell to get to this point.

We met the goal but having fuel delivery issues. The fuel pressure is dropping off on top. Starting with 9psi and it drops off as low as 2psi.
    32 degrees total
    6psi of boost
93 pump gas straight from BP gas station down the street from Laz's shop
    Made 950/966 at peaks
    With ambient temp 92
    Barometer 101%
    Hygrometer 58
    the correction factor is 1.052
Which is 999.4hp and 1016tq close enough to a 1000hp for me and she will live with this conservative tune up. Ya it will go way over the 1000hp mark with a more aggressive tune up but I want my cake and eat it to. Live with lots a power.
I dont have the dyno sheet in front of me but I will post it soon.
