That's what I have heard also.
There are 21, 23, and 25 jewel movements on fakes. I believe the real have a 32 jewel movement.

You also have swiss made fakes that are very close to being real. Some of these companies buy real rolex parts to make their watches and charge close to $1000
The newer ones also have a crown hologram in the crystal at the 6:00 marker. The best bet would be to take it to a jeweler and have them open the back of the case.

No way he promised me it was real. Even had the sticker!
