Has anyone installed one on their boat?? Does the center knob clear the billet waterproof covers... Seems like it sticks out quite a bit. Also is there a remote that controls the Ipods out that will work with this.. Thanks,
Sup Hustler. I Bought And Installed The Deck About 3 Weeks Ago. Best Deck I Have Ever Had. Sound Quality Is Grade A. Even Downloaded Off Of Alpine A Different Back Ground With Blue Flames To Match My Boat. I Snugged The Deck Back Towards The Support Strap As It Wasnt Clearing The Knob. But It Is Now.
Get The High Speed Ipod Connector And It Is Just Like Looking For Music On The Ipod. Same Speed And Searching Capability. I Have Seen A Waterproof Remote That Floats Made By Alpine. Dont Know If It Has Specific Ipod Functions On It Though. Definitely Gonna Get It When I Find A Place Here In Lv With It In Stock.
I have seen the knob clear the cover on the schosche cover that slides open.

Oh, and I got the new remote too. Wireless, RF. Works great. Made by Alpine, and full function.
