I have a loose bow eye. The nuts are frozen so tightening them is impossable. Gonna have to replace it. Sucks......

The one on my boat is 30 years old and is in really good shape. Now that you've posted this it will probably break at a vrey inconvenient time.

I made an extension out of 1/2 inch threaded rod and used H/D couplers to connect them. I then got a carriage bolt and ground it down to fit a 1/2 inch sized swivel. I was able to get to the nuts but unfortunatly they are frozen so I will be replacing the bow eye. It took a litle McGyvering but it works.
