they obviously don't want to share skills
Where's the best place to learn how to use Photoshop?
You guys have any good online resources? I recently installed PS 7.0 on my machine and I'd like to use it to start making product brochures.

I'm thinking not.
Photoshop 7.0...
Buy a book in school we used Visual QuickStart Guide, but that might be difficult to find for 7.0.
PRACTICE, Practice, practice
Look into community colleges most offer weekend intro. classes to the public that are only 1-3 weekends depending
Trial and error... just takes time and practice, and a general understanding of pixel based imagery. i would buy a tutorial book from Amazon.com and just follow through it if you want to get up to speed quickly. Also read the customer reviews of the books on amazon's site, they seem to be good advice, i got a solidworks tutorial book off them and it has been great.

Ask The Bilge Idiot
Your best bet is go to Barnes & Noble and buy "Classroom in a Book" this is what I use for my students, it is easiest to understand of them all, and it's only $25. The tutorials are all on a CD, loaded with images to use and everything.
