Just saw this on E-Bay and thought I'd let any of you east coast guys know about it. Moon tanks, Casale, motor mounts for I think a BBC, and on a tandem trailer. Looks pretty complete except for motor.

I paid 6k for mine and there was not a thing wrong with it.
I talked to Harold Kindsvater and asked lots of questions. When I saw that it was a runner bottom he questioned it. He said he didn't build that many of them. I asked it that made it worth more. He said nope, unless you find someone willing to pay more.
Been watching that one. Only 4 hours from me. Looks like a good deal still. Very tempting.
Runner bottoms are slower at top speed but corner better, right?

looks like a pile of $hit to me. The guy says he has had a tarp on it for a couple years, that could be bad for the gel coat, but on the other hand i think the metal flake has to go anyways
Spoke to the owner, boat was owned by Chris Karamesines way back when.
He says he could probably get around $900 for the v drive, mounts, tanks and hardware and that the hull and trailer have to be worth something, reserve is $2200 - too much for me...........
Anybody notice what kind of V-Drive that is?.. wink
Too much $$$$$ in my opinion.
