Im running -10 line form the pump, through a regulator into a Y. Out of the Y are 2 -8 fittings.
Question. Do the -8 lines out of the Y need to be the same length for proper cooling, or can one be a little longer than the other? Difference will be 8-10 inches max.
    Thanks.

I dont believe they do. Reason is your block creates restriction and builds water pressure inside the block. Are you worried about more water going in one side of the motor than the other? Mine is plumbed like this. Some have said i should not do it like this but it works.

That is exactly what I am worried about.

Run it you'll be fine. The pressure in the block will get it equalized.
