I'm looking at buying a 22' daytona daycruiser,does anybody have any pics? I'm trying to see how they sit in the water.
I think they built 23' and 25' V bottom cruisers. I know of one in Burbank Calif., it is a V-drive with twin turbos. It will run over 100MPH, and has a T400 2 speed trans. Black, orange, white. (7 colors) It looks like a sleeper, but the boat does run well. Not a modern design, but it is a great "big lake" boat. PM me if you need details.
yea that's what this one is,except it's 19' bbf,velvet drive,c-500 mini daycruiser.
what kind of peformance can I look for thru this combo 460 to velvet drive to c-500? three blade prop.
YEP! That's a Crusader, Bob Long used the 19' and 21' Crusader molds way back. It's got a lot of "hook" in the bottom, 55MPH is all I can go with less than 500HP. That boat (19') has no cockpit room either, I'd look around a little more. Steve Mc Ellroy had that mold years ago, maybe he can get you a new hull, if you really like that sized boat. I've got a couple of new 22' hulls for sale!

Tony Scarlotta used to have one that I looked at buying from him. It's running around Parker nowdayz with a new owner, and it flat hauls ass from what I've been told by others.
