MY TUNNEL RAM IS A HUGE WASTE OF GAS ON MY 455, but it looks cool as hell
Just curious to see if anybody had succesfully run one of these in a boat? What would be the plus and minus compared to other manifolds? I have a chance to buy one locally for cheap. May not be the best thing out there for performance, but I think it's kinda cool looking. How bad could it be for $100?

This is a pic of one off ebay that's currently over $200 so I'm thinking, if nothing else it might be worthwhile to buy it just to re-sell?

Taylorman was running a tunnel ram with 2 fours on his 455, but has since switched it out for a Victor intake. That one pictured there, hard to say how it would run, but it definitely has the "cool" factor! :rollside:
Im not familiar with this intakes performance. You may ask over on realoldspower.com
looks like that intake maybe made to use 2 carter carbs,, and not holleys

Yep, no Holleys....I run an Offy 2X4 intake on a 68 Hydroflight v drive and it works great. 2 Edlebrock 600s on about 3" risers with straight linkage, (no progressive)...........That intake would give you alot of bottom end, just what a 455 is looking for, but not alot of top RPMs, again, just what a 455 likes.....I would go for it, but remember those Carter/Edlebrock carbs are gonna be over $500 for a pair new, and if you find used, the kits are not cheap, nor are the "trick" kits..................MP
