I know... I know.... insurance in old hat on here, but hear me out. I found a Procharger at a pretty good price and bought it for my boat, and trust me it needs one, its a slug. The problem I am having now is this.... My insurance no longer writes boats (USAA) so I started shopping. I tried progressive and they say my boat (26 Commander Signarutre) is not insurable over 425hp. I tried Empower Marine who quoted me through Foremost and they said not with that hp rating. I called state farm and they still have not called back. I do have Andy from the boards looking for me right now, but no results yet.
I am by no means a baller, my boat is by no means a rocket (55mph before procharger) What are you people doing for insurance???? Does anybody know why progressive says not over 425hp for my particualr model (insert commander bashing here)?? WTF??
