Who Has A Psp?

And can tell me why I can not get it to read the music/pictures I down loaded on the memory card?
I am from the stone ages when it comes to this technical stuff. Do I need to down load a special program to convert the files so the psp can read the memory card? It tells me how much memory the card has but says there are no tracks or pictures so show. WTF.... please help. :cry:
btw this is my daughters toy, not mine.

There is a folder layout on the card when you format it in the PSP... If you just drop files on the card the PSP doesn't know what to do with them.
Now that being said... Did you format the card when you put it in the PSP, if not do so now... Also, if you don't have the latest updates for the PSP, do that too.
Then you can remove it from the PSP, put it in the computer and use the folder layout. You can put MP3 in the music folder and it will know what to do. The PSP prefers .jpg format for pics. Put those in the right folder and there you have it.

You should be able to just open them up. Have not tried this myself yet. If someone named Mrs. Hooter Sled would find mine, I could help ya. And it's ok Steve, you can get away with calling the PSP yours as an MP3 player.
