Well I finally took a pic of Hawaiian.. She isnt the prettiest but she is all mine. So far nothing crazy just wiring and what not, tune up and a good scubbing. next year she will be getting new interior and paint. Oh and I forgot the most important thing. I gave her a name.. well actually my son did... and that is "Boach" the reason being is that he is only 2 and all he keeps saying to me is " Daddy, I wan dribe Boach" Gotta love kids!!!!

gel looks really nice in the pic. If there are no cracks or other major damage I'd consider leaving it the way it is. Aint nothing wrong with a classic. If its beat then by all means repaint. But if it could be saved, man thats what I'd do

Come on now you gotta give me a break.. that was not too long after a lowside at Jennings GP. Had to grow a new set after sucking them up into my chest.

The gel is in good shape..however there are holes all over the place from the mooring cover snaps, and old air horn and other odds and ends.. up close it doesnt look the best... the holes that is...After I fill those in I am only going to paint the top to match the colors that are there (Good excuse to buy a new spray gun). The other thing is the metal flake in stripes and the mock windshields are faded pretty bad. I am going try and match that stuff and try and buff out the wood grain in the gell in other places. I am not going to make it all racy looking. I am trying to keep it as original looking as possible. I've been wanting a day cruiser like this for a long time. Heck just tonight I spend all evening scrubbing the crap out of it, she was a wee bit dirty. Before you know it I'll be banned for posting every little thing I do to it.
