So where is the ideal place to install the oil pressure sending unit? The book says to use the hole above the oil filter but there are three holes... The sending unit came with a adapter that looks like it should go into the center hole...
The oil temp sender, my guess is the best place for this is the pan? Is that correct?

Yes most people install the temp sender in the pan.
The pressure sender goes in the large center hole. You'll need a 1/2" - 1/4" pipe adapter since the hole in the block is a 1/2" pipe threaded hole.
