Pretty funny story (Kona vs Kona)

I bought a 1971 Kona from a buddy that had two of them, he sold me the slow ugly one, but I wasnt looking at what it was, but rather what it could be, and now is. I have posted the before and after pics.
Ok here is where it gets funny, we went out to the lake this past week and he wants to race so its on, anyway I totally smoke him (with the diverter full up :jawdrop: ), now he is so pissed he cant eat, sleep, work anyway, he goes to the engine builder screaming at him about his recent defeat,(the same guy built both of our motors) and asks what he can do to beat me and creates more laughter for all of us.
The guy just wont get over it and is willing to sell all his toys just to be able beat me, after a few days I start feeling guilty (ya-right!!) so I am brousing some sites and find this 1973 Sanger v-drive that had been tore down for restoration, the bottom has been completed (speed coated, and painted) but that is as far as he got with it, it has a 454 4 bolt, tunnel ram SS headers and all the goodies to put it back together. So I tell my buddie about it, and suggest that rather than sink a bunch of $$$$ into his boat lets go in on this one and have one that'll really cooks, so we go check it out, and bam we have another boat, here are the original pics. I guess I will have to drive my boat and run him against the sanger (just so he can win one) the poor guy needs to get some sleep......... Woooo-Hooo this is some fun chit.
I will keep you posted on the progress.
P.S. How in the hell do you get the pics posted on this site? I have spent what has turned into days now trying to figure out how to get them posted so others dont have to do it for me.
