I know really nothing about plugs, i know there are plugs that are hotter and colder, thats about it. Should i just get the stock plugs that the local autozone recommends for a BBC or should i be running something else..

A colder plug is generally desired in a performance engine. Here's a link to selecting an NGK plug if you'd like to do that. I'd say a 7 or 8 heat range for your deal would be fine.

Shaun, for your deal you don't need anything special, don't know your preference in plugs but Autolite 24 will work just fine, so just cross reference to your favorite brand, I recomend Autolite or NGK!..

Yes Autolite 24's or you can step up to the AR13's which is Autolites racing series plug. They work real well.
