Thread: re -chrome headers

    hi, i am in bakersfield cal. need to find a chrome shop . need to have my headers re- chrome ,can some one tell me if they know of 1 :idea:

    I ceramic coated mine. Best thing i ever did. Helps trnsfer heat better, cooler to the touch and easy to clean.

    Geronimo,
    I just brought up the thread on Jet-Hot vs Ceramic coating look for it. You may what to check it out. I Jet-Hotted our headers 14 years ago and will never chrome a set again.

    theres a place in San Bernardino called Hoak brothers. And a place in Rialto called J&M polishing. Be prepared though they will charge you about 500 bucks to do em.

    Mine are getting ceramic coated this winter. No more blueing chrome to worry about for me.

    Sleeper CP, You coated your headers 14 years ago? You got a pic of what they look like now? I plan on Jett hot this winter. Just wondering what the life span of these coatings are.
