That may have been an expensive mistake.
so my chick decides to drive the boat. I was in the bow and she decides to rev the engine and put it into drive (forward)..
the boat jerked hard and she immediatly turned off the engine.
After I started the engine I noticed that I wasnt able to put the boat into neutral or reverse (it was stuck on forward)...
I pulled hard on the lever to try to put it in neutral or reverse, but it wont not go into neutral or reverse...
Does anyone have any idea how to fix this?

Could be (hopefully) something as simple as a broken cable or a part in the control box... What kind of unit?
