Is it possible to find a way to figure out how big of a cam I can run in my 454? It has .020 pistons right now with a .530 lift cam. I wanted to go upwarded of .580 without changing out pistons, and piston valve notching is not an option for me. Any ideas?

check out the post on favorite piston to valve clearance checking I have ran a 595 lift with stock type piston but every motor and cam are different need to check clearance on your cam now so read the post and it explaines it all.
