Thread: Trim cyclinder help

    If you have the trim pump with the large white reservoir, use the Merc. trim fluid. It is hydraulic fluid with additives that help the trim motor.

    I have the one with the metal reservoir so do I run the motor oil.

    30w enigne oil if it has the black metal reservoir.

    OK thanks for all the help. Also if I brought the cylinders by your shop would you rebuild them and how much.

    I found another problem my reverse lock out is leaking. Could this be some of my problem and how do I adjust it. I have the one that connects to the shift linkage.
