    I need to buy new one. Any one have tried the "Chene Anchor".Overton carrys them. I'm using the navy style anchor now ,works good but too heavy.about 20lbs.solid steel .

    Go with the Boxanchor....hands down the BEST anchor I have ever used. And its the easiest anchor to use.

    I concur!
    We have had very good luck with both the box anchor and sand spike.(We threw the old style anchors away after using the box anchor once)

    BOX ANCHOR. Dana Marine makes a Box Anchor copy but buy the original. If you buy it online it comes with a storage bag. We have 2. Front and rear if you get some bad current.

    Isn't the Dana Copy a Triangle, not a Box?? Buy the original!!

    I also have the Box Anchor and it is the best anchor I have ever used. Get a Shore Spike while you are it. It works great also.
