Jones Tach

My daughters laveycraft has an old jones mech. tach. The problem is that the cable was so noisy that I don't know how accurate it is. I wanted them to replace it with an electric tach but she wants to keep it as original as possible, smart girl,takes after her mom. Is there someone or someplace that she can pick up a new cable. :coffeycup v-drive

If you take the cable off and take it to a local diesel truck repair center they can make you one. All of the parts for the tach cable are the same as speedometer cable's. They can make it any length that you would like with all the same ends.

Repair/Replace the cable, Jones mechanical tachs are more accurate and reliable than electric!
