Is there an easy way to get the metering blocks loose from the carburetor body? It has the original red holley gasket(not the blue non-stick).
How do you remove the old gaskets once the blocks are off? How do you get the little pieces off? I have tried a razor blade and do not like the results. Is it OK to use scotchbrite?

i found a spray at auto zone called gasket remover and that stuff to my suprise works great, spray it on let it sit a few minuites and just peel it off, i only wish i would of found it years ago. As far as seperating the bowls and metering blocks your only option is to use a flathead screwdriver and a hammer and go for it.
