Change party and all you do is change flavors. We will most likely have to resign ourselves to the facts of both parties offering different versions of the power machines they've built.
As much as you dislike the present administration it's hard to fathom how you can hope the other side has anything to improve with? The socialist leanings of H.Clinton and her ongoing tirades based on what the polls say each day prior to her latest spiel, is quite disconcerting to me. I plain don't trust her and felt the same about her hubby. Bill was tolerable from the point of his personality but his "machine" presents just as many targets as the current admin.
To me the scariest trend in government is the 60's radicals in the form of Pelosi, Boxer, and friends that have no concept whatsoever of reality or morality. They care only about their livfelong agendas of euphoria and in no way are capbable of making life deicisons for the best benefit of this country.
Bottom line is the terrorists might do this country a favor if they blew up the Capitol when both House and Senate were in full session and the Pres was standing up front but they know doing this would be against their own interests so we're stuck with this bunch of fools.
Tex,
I understand exactly where you are coming from and agree with most of what you commented, however I believe that anyone running on either side, with the exception of Hillary, is capible of doing a better job than what we currently have. If Ron Pauls had a bit more stature, and was slightly less eccentric, I believe he could do a good job. Sad to say that the Mr Paul's low points will never change.
