Anybody tow with a 07 Suburban

Anybody tow with a 07 Suburban 1500 4wd? I really need more kid and dog space than my 5-passenger truck.
Was thinking about the ¾ ton but it may be overkill for me.

I had a 2005 2500 with the 6.0. It did pretty well towing our 7500# boat/trailer. We got 8.1mpg going from Phoenix to Lake Powell and 9.4mpg coming home (mostly downhill coming home). Not towing, we would get about 13-14mpg average per tank. We went to a duramax crew cab and I would have trouble going back to a gasser.

i have towed with my 07 z71 and the engine has done well, but the trans runs hot..never below 225 pulling a 26fter
