This program rips DVD's...it's called handbrake.

It will turn a DVD into .mP4 or .mov or something like that and the movie will also be quicktime. Movies take about 2-3 hours to rip. An icon of a quicktime movie should appear on the desktop after its done ripping. Import that file into iTunes. If you have a Mac then i can help you more but if you're using a PC then goodluck haha
I use podmax. It cost like $25. But it will rip a movie 2 i-tunes. And a lot of other things u will find more than usefull in your quest 2 fill your I-pod with tunes. Pm

Nero comes with a lot of computers, do you have it? If so Nero Recode can make mpeg4 for the Ipod, on DMR stuff though you gotta rip it first with DVDdecrypter, DVDFab, AnyDVD or similar.
