    Is there anyway to tell if my casale is a 10 or 12 degree. It is still mounted in the boat. Also....Is it ok to chrome the v-drive???

    I believe there are numbers cast into the case halves that can also tell you which it is.
    I am assuming you dont have an angle finder right?

    Forget the chrome; you need a new coupler and a whirl-away before you buy anything else.

    If the first two numbers on the case are 62 then its a 12 degree, if they are 61 then its a 10 degree.

    Thanks cole man...I do have a new coupler and new air shift set up. I have new everything -(shaft log,coupler, ect....) The whirlaway will be installed before it even hits the water....
    Where are the numbers located on the v-drive....thanks again

    I was told that you could look on the bottom side, call casale and they will tell you exactly what it is that you have
