Can anyone recommend a nice campground on this lake? Looking for spot recommendations as well. Anyone been there recently that can comment on the lake water levels?

I've stayed at Blue Oaks and Flemming Meadows campgrounds, both are pretty good but there aren't any sites close to the water especially now. I've heard the lake is down but not sure how far.
Here's a map of the lake-

According to the California Dept of Water Resources website, LDP was down about 50' as of July 3rd and dropping about 6" a day.
Real nice lake but not on the big weekends, too many idiots.

Fleming Meadows and Blue Oaks like Cas stated. It's a great lake.

anyone know how far down the water is right now? How much longer will the lake be useable this year and is there any other supply other than rainfall/runoff?

You can call the marina to get the exact numbers. I was there two years ago and the lake was pretty much full. Even with a little water missing, it shouldn't be too bad.

We stayed at Blue Oaks the week of the 4th. Water is down aprox 40' from last year. From our camp spot we could keep our boat in the water with out any concerns.

A full lake at Don Pedro is 830 ft above sea level. Current level is 783. Since it is such a big lake it's still very boat-able but unless you know the lake don't run at night.
You can also shore camp most of the lake if you really like to rough it.
