Took from another site...stereotype is well deserved...
    Ignoring posted bouys? Check
Endangering themselves and possibly others? Check
Oblivious to a potential deadly situation? Check
Sounds like your average jet skier to me:

Video looks like they were just trying to pull a dukes of Hazard..
I must admit, if I lived there it would've been a matter of time when I was a kid before I tried it on my stand up.

There was a few alum fishing boats that did the ski jump on the lake I lived on. Won't say who it was but I got pretty good and tighting up rivets in those little Starcrafts. lol

    RD the stuntman.....
What you can't tell from the video is that the area where the jetski landed is CONCRETE.......the water is only about 18" deep.

Well in knowing that... It probably would've been a longer while then shorter before I tried it, but in my younger years? I would've probably tried it still... "hold my beer and watch this" kinda deal if ya know what I'm saying.
I'm still amazed I've never been seriously injured at the river with some of the shit we used to do when we were kids.
