I know this has been answered before but what kind of lumber do you use for boat seats? Also do you know where to get it? I need to freshen up the seats before I have them redone. Thanks

It depends on how nice you want to go and how much you want to spend. A hardwood shop, like supplies hobbiest who build cabinets and furniture could get you some nice multi ply stuff.
Frost Hardwood is who i'd use, but I don't know who's in your area.
I suppose you could use some ACX and resin coat it....

We use marine plywood... pricey... and then coat it with resin and glass it. It's also good to seal any holes you drill through it.
