Nice boat, looks like a nice set and I dig the colors..How fast?
Chris.
When I read CS19's post I looked over my head and picked up an old boat magazine off the top of the shelf. It is a February 1984 Hot Boat magazine. On page 11 is a Tom Papp Racing Advertisement and one of the pics has
"Johnny Harris, Unblown Gas Jet EYE OF THE TIGER. World's fastest at 131.96 mph."
And in '84.... that would be the Eliminator as the Cheyenne pickle tunnel jet was not yet out.
I Bought The 1984 Eye Of The Tiger Kevlar Lay Up Eliminator Daytona 2 Year's Ago From A Guy In Tennesse.go to the image center and search eye of the tiger for pics
my grandpa still has the air scoop the that boat, i just might have to throw it on for a weekend, maybe labor day. it wont match my boat very well though. lol
