I had the boat parked off the street at the side of the house we rented this week. The area seemed like a pretty good, safe area (N. Hava). I was wrong. I went out Sunday morning to find the audio system gone.

BUT, I thought someone my come across a good deal on stero parts or someone knows someone that just got a new system this last weekend.
I guess most of us take pride in working hard for what we have, and then there are others that are proud of what they can get for FREE.

I have a house on the North side and have never had a problem.
Even left my cell phone and wallet this last weekend in a pontoon boat out front of the house and come morning it was still there (thank GOD).
I hear that it is getting pretty bad in places though.
Insurance should cover it for ya...

Somewhere in Havi there is a Tweeker pad full of tailgates, stereo equipment, anchors, and sand spikes. Just not sure where they sell this stuff.
Havasu is seeing a LOT MORE crime and theft sadly, the tweekers take most of the blame but crime is here for sure. I wouldnt leave my boat sit out at nite period unless I was sleeping very close by or IN IT!! Say hello to Mr 38 Special scumbag NSF
sorry to hear the sad news but i learned early that when you think its a nice area make sure you double lock your shit up...theives know where to go to get the good stuff...think about it would you go to the hood to steal a car or to the so called"nice area"
