Yea me too... Its gonna be sick! I think it should be unvailed with santa present!
The boat is scheduled at Sammon's around X-Mas....HHHHMMMMMM.
Ut oh.
Is Santa going to make a surprise visit and test out the deck?
After a few days of fallout Billy informed me yesterday the penis will be re-designed. Bob Thompson was supposed to come back over and letter "Bass Pro Shops" on the back in keeping with the metalflake fishing boat theme. He will replace the existing bullet with a less fag attracting one.
Damn, I think the boat looks good, I just thought JG had requested a dick on the side. Thats all.
If there were any truth to that this would be on the side...:jawdrop:

This one was 2nd. This boat was wrecked at Firebird and the deck stuck out of the far end of the course for a long time.

I bought this thing in Washington (from the fastest nostalgia guy) and started stripping it.
I was unable to find any "original" pictures of this boat anywhere from anyone (it was painted over). In fact nobody hardly even remembered it. The best source of info turned out to be John Hart as Doug Peters would validate.
Since I had home movies and lots of magazine clips of the 2nd boat and it was well known (and allegedly undefeated til it crashed) I figured we would paint this one into boat 2. The imprinted hull Id is HONCHO75.
Without this pic from Brian Bergeron we would never have pulled this off.

The above pic shows the boat in its original Flake. There are 3 sizes of metal flake, large like a bass boat, medium and mini. This boat was medium originally. After spraying the bottom medium and watching Billy struggle with it I opted to do the top in the mini flake. The little Honcho character on the side looked a little scary so we changed him to look like our friend Raul only wearing a sombrero.

So far I have talked to Jamie Jameson, Julian Pettengill, Doug Peters and many others trying to gather pics and info.
If anyone else has any more pics or info they want to share please, feel free.
It will be better than new when it is done. The trailer is sick too! JG and Billy, you two have created another work of art.
JG, I am sorry I was so mean to you. I apologize. Friends?
