Need left hand steering for Hydro

I currently have center outboard steering on my hydro. I'm looking to trade somebody, or buy, left hand steering for it so I can have two seats. I beleive I need a different steering box with the shaft that is shorter on the left and longer on the right.
Any info or leads are appreciated

if im correct you can move it to the left and get a longer cable or chain if you want i have a 76 and the steering was made in pasadena ca about all i know hope it helps

Put in a bench seat and scoot over, or carry 3 instead of 2. Temporary fix.

Thanks, I've been to his shop and he's actually the person that I'm getting a lot of tips, setup info, and parts from. He also has a Prop shop and is very informative and helpful. He "steared" me in the right direction, I was just looking to see if anybody out there wanted to trade for center before I laid out the cash.
76, there's no cables or chain. They have steel rods that go into a stearing box.
I've thought about that myself Info.
Wonder how well it would work. Might look a little Gay though!
