455 Question

i'm replacing a 455 with a different 455 and one has a flex plate and the other has a fly wheel. The new motor has a Flex plate can i put the Fly Wheel on with out it throwing the motor out of balance or does it matter? i'm not sure what year the motors or even if that matters.

i agree as long as the motor (and related parts) havent been custom balanced Tom

The only difference being that the flywheel has a thicker hub versus the flex plate.
