The motor is a Gen VI Big block Chevy 502. Dont know much about it. Stock as far as I know but runs really good. Electric fuel pump, Indmar exhaust or Basset headers(your choice)Has MSD 6 Maring ignition box with Probillet Distributor & MSD blaster coil. New starter, new alternator, roller cam.
Its in the boat I just bought and it runs good(will take you for a ride if you want to witness it running), Starts on the first bump. Awesome oil pressure. Im taking the motor out of the little boat and putting it in my new to me big boat, and vice versa.

Almost forgot. Hull was blueprinted by Jeff Bennett. Bottom is a copy of Hondo Pantera. Very good bottom for going fast, not the best, but very far from the worst. Lots of these boats have delta pads on them. Since my goal was speed, Jeff recommended removing the delta pad so thats the route we went. Pump entry has been massaged and blueprinted as well.

nice looking boat for a fair price. as for the engine in the pics, it looks like a genVI not a gen V. the gen VI blocks are also fitted with a factory roller cam and lifters. look on the side of the block and see what numbers are casted between the freeze plugs. 7.4 or 8.2 you may have a 502 block if it runs that hard for a stock motor.
Can this boat be configured to seat more than 2?

Damn, all I knew was that the block wasn't a gen 4, and figured luck would have it and be a gen V instead of a VI. Maybe Ill go buy a lotto ticket! Thanks Vic, Ill check it out tonight!

Absolutely. It sat 4-5 when I got it. I just liked these seats. they are kinda laid back and very comfy. That plus the direct drive kill the back seat deal. Some minor changes and you will have room for 4-5.
A set of fiberglass buckets and a bench are what came with the boat originally.
