I always see classic V-drives and jets. What happened to all the classic outboards. Esp with gas prices I would figure these would be gaining in popularity?

I think the old inline 6 would be more of a classic... I remember the bumble bee sound, at the high revs, man I miss those motors!!!!!

That pic is from OP63 last year as we were towin' 77Charger's 1977 Charger to the sandbar. 90HP doesn't give ya much top end but she's a thrill a minute in the rough stuff! Can you say air-time? I knew that you could.

How can i forget this photo stv keith took advantage and got the camera out(fuel pump crapped out but i did make it back on my own power) .Gig your boat and motor combo is a classic i have acousin with the same boat he got lucky and got the 15o and ai have an uncle who has a 73 avenger 16 ft that has a merc 140 both boats are afunto play with even thought they only top around 50 they are solid bnoats and reliable(very)
