It seems my sattelite connection is stuck with no TV transmission. I can use the DVD player but that is it. My HD box can not be turned off/on and I can't get behind it to see if there is a reset button or something like that. The installer has the unit installed very tight and I can only move it a couple of inches which does not allow me to get behind it and check it out.
The other rooms have hookups and the feed works fine in those rooms.....
Does it sound like the HD reciever went out on me?

If everything is still connected from the dish down and the other ones are working fine then it does sound like it went bad...

I have a Dish Network DVR. If you push the power button down and keep it pushed down it will go through a reboot process. If that doesn't work, unplug and replug. Good luck.

I should have been more specific, but I meant the power button on the unit itself, not the remote...

If you can't get to the plug, turn off at the breaker.

The breaker took care of it. Didn't even think of that. Thanks everybody
