Need help finding power steering for dads boat ASAP

Hi all,
My dad has a little 17' Tahaiti (sp?) with an older 175hp Merc v6 2 stroke...
He was saying that there is a kit that costs around $400 to convert it from manual to power steering, and I wanted to get it for his birthday.
Anyone have any websites or companies i should call? Thanks in advance.

Don't bother. The merc add-on power steering was a joke. It was sloppy, ugly, and had a tendency to leak. If he wants to make it easier to steer, tell him to pony up the dough and go sea-star hydraulic. It's neat, clean, has no slop, and goes for about $1000.
