That guy did it to me about a month ago and I didnt move. I doubt he realizes what deep $hit he would be in if he actually hit someone. Let him wait in line like all of us.

That ferry baat acts like he's on a tight schedule, I've had to avoid him a few times as he passes other boats that are at wakeless speed in the channal. Never quite understood the reason why he needed to do that other than him using the smaller manueverable vessel must give way rule.

I had the captain come down to the bow and tell me that he was going as slow as he could one day. I was idling in at 4mph on the GPS. I moved over that time...next time, he will wait his turn.
I got told by a ranger on Lake Mead that my boat breaks water off the transom at idle, so I'm going too fast already. When I commented that I was idling, he told me to start and stop the motor to modulate my speed...maybe that's what the tour boat guys should do.

We have a 55' Sea Ray in Tampa and have to go at wakeless speed until out in the bay. It is impossible to to at idle with both motors in forward. So, we have to run port for 5 seconds, then switch to starboard for 5 seconds, and so on.
My last 34 was turning some big props and I had to do the same thing 95% of the time when I was going through the channel. Every big HP boat has to do the same thing because the props are so big, it increases the idle speed. So in and out of gear it is.

We were heading over to Windsor to pull the boat at the end of the weekend. Must have been about 8:00 or 8:30 in the evening and I was heading out of the channel when the Casino boat was on its way in.
Admittedly, the channel was empty at this time of night on a Sunday, but the Casino boat came in hot, blew right past the no wake bouys and kept on it right into the mouth of the channel, which is where I passed him going the other way.
He was easily moving at twice his usual "wakeless" speed and was throwing off a sizable wake. I could have towed a skier through the channel and thrown off less of a wake...
Guess the rules don't apply to the commercial operators.

We need to take pictures of this clown doing this and send them along with the complaints to the PD/BBB etc.

I've had the same problems with this jackass coming at me way too fast. A couple times at night and a few during the day. Is there some type of tonage law where he would have the right of way?

I am trying to learn how to do it in my Artic Cat because I think it will be very benificial for the safety of my family on the dirt..
Come out riding with Me, Cole Trickle, and Ivan Dan. We'll really teach you what that Arctic Cat can do. Or won't do. :jawdrop:
